Ladies and Gents, this year we are raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease (MND)

What is MND?
Motor neurone disease (MND) is the name given to a group of diseases in which the nerve cells (neurones) controlling the muscles that enable us to move, speak, breathe and swallow undergo degeneration and die.

As healthy human beings we often take for granted, when we can get out of bed each day, that we can run like the wind. Unfortunately there are so many that can’t, and I believe, as a collective group, we can help by raising funds to help fight MND.

One of the reasons for creating this company was to raise funds for a worthy cause and it’s taken us 3 yrs to get established well enough to do so. In addition to this we really didn’t know which cause we wanted to support, until recently.

I came across MND through a colleague and could see the synergy between being active and not being able to be active and it was a no brainer from there. We have now chosen to support MND.

Is easy via the donation option offered through our registration process, totally voluntary of course.  All donations count, no matter how small, and we are truly grateful.

We appreciate your support..

IMPORTANT: As a Male and Female Champion will be crowned for each of the 5km/10km/21.1km distances, it is important to decide which distance will be your default distance to compete over and ensure that you enter the distance for each event.

  1. Choose your default distance
  2. Enter your events, selecting your default distance for each event,
  3. Points will be allocated based finishing position, i.e. 50 for first, 49 for second, 48 for third etc. across all distances.
  4. We will track the points on our leader board and awards will be presented at the Busselton Spring Running Festival in October to the Male and Female winners of the Challenge for each distance.
  5. The winner will be the athlete with the most points for each distance.

For those that don’t believe they have the pace to win the series but still want a challenge can opt to try for the ‘GO-GETTA’ award.

Enter your events, but your distances must be progressive. i.e. you must select 5km for Rockingham, 10km for Armadale and 21.1km for Busselton.

We will award points based on your finish position at each event and award prizes to the Male and Female athlete with the most points on completion of all events.
